Description
This is most likely going to be out Ultimate evolution.Hes a Scorpion Fly (Seriously, Google them, they are awesome!!) I'm not finished with this design, though Im happy where its heading.
I wanted to go with a rusty, clockwork feel in this one... With added crab claws.
Let me know which bits you like/ dislike, it would really help!

The overall design is really awesome, it feels like a seamless combination of mechanical and biological, I especially like the tail and wings. I also really dig the claws/pinches on its forelimbs.
The only thing I can say strikes me as odd (? I'm not sure that's the right word) are the three gear patterns on the head, it feels like them being so many makes the area needlessly cluttered, the one near the back of the head especially odd and it begin mapped to the shape of the head, very deformed, would make it a hassle to draw over an over, well in my opinion at least. Haha three little patterns probably sounds like a horribly nitpicky comment but I thought I should point it out since you asked for both positive and negative feedback.
Anyways, great stuff, looking forward to the final design! (:

this is completely badass! Interesting to see the bio hazard sign on it. Love the whole design, really cool, and based off a really cool insect to boot. Nice work
