Description asked me to design her newest OC, Scarlet Widow. She has been genetically manipulated to have special abilities and uses some tech as well to help her accomplish her jobs. Check out Crimson's profile for more about her. Thanks again to CV for letting me design another of her awesome characters

Great look. I love the hip-slung utility belt.

Thanks, sometimes I move them higher up the waist, but here I think it looks pretty good on SW. Glad you like the design

My personal preference is for the utility belt to be kind of slung off the hip at an angle, not parallel with the floor. But the best part of a utility belt is removing it from the unconscious heroine

It's a nice look for sure, and yes there is a thrill with removing that belt

Yes, removing the utility belt and it's array of useful tools and gadgets is such a symbol for her defeat and ensuing helplessness. Another persoal favorite is removing a thigh holster, perhaps holding a hand gun or a blade. It is such a beautiful scene, a villainess sliding up a helpless heroine's skirt to reveal her hidden holster, then gently removing it.

Belt wise mine has to be the old WW TV show weakness. Removing her belt removes all her power/strength. My only small nitpick for the infamous Fausta scene is that they didn't show WW losing her belt. I think it would have added to the awesome chloroform scene. After she answers the question about her belt being the key to her strength, the German removes it, WW lets out a soft sigh as she grows even weaker. In fact the thug could maybe shake her to try and keep her awake enough to answer his remaining questions.

The Fausta scene, while being one of the greatest scenes, really could have extended that mini chloroform interrogation. I think Lynda Carter could have been amazing in a belt removal scene with the villain, her body visibly weakening and softening as she loses her super powers and her own grip on consciousness. While she was helpless in his lap and bound to tell the truth, there is no reason why he should not have continued the interrogation. Those moments where the heroine is helpless to resist her fate of chemical induced unconsciousness, but aware of her own weakness and waning will to resist, are the best moments in the heroine in sleepy peril stories.

She almost looks like a What If scenario for Crimson, what if something went a bit different in her life and this became her new look for her new calling?  All in all, she looks good

Evil Crimson? It's a interesting idea. Maybe we need a world where all our OCs are flipped? Evil OC verse...of course that would make Orchid a heroine then LOL.

Thanks dude for the comments, glad you like it

You guys keep on trying to get me to do this...

In all honesty I wanted Scarlet to have a "similar" look to Crimson given some of the things they have in common, hehe

Well as to the 'evil' idea, I just think it be fun LOL.

But yeah glad some similarities to Crimson came through. You picked some great references that helped CV

Thanks again for another great job. I'm always so thrilled with the way these turn out just based on the simple references I give you, you really do put a great touch on all of these pieces.

Thanks CV I'm glad I could bring your concept to life.

One thing I love about you is you have a good idea of what you want to see so as you describe it, I can translate it to the HM3 format. Thanks again for the kind words and glad you like it!

Like the design. The opening in the middle of the palm is definitely unique. Must've been hard to come up with a design that doesn't resemble one of the Spider-Ladies

I think Crimson kept that in mind when she was picking ideas for the costume. She wanted a leotard and tights look, which I approved LOL. CV also mentioned the possibility of her having technology to round out the spider power set, so we went for the gloves, and even though you don't see them her boots would similar. I did the holes in the gloves for Scarlet's naturally produced webbing.

Glad you like it AV, thanks for the comments

Nothing wrong with the leotard and tights look, it's been working for heroines and villainesses for this long. LOL. It was a good touch having the webbing come out the palm of her hands instead of the wrist. So, are the pads on her fingers an option on HM3 or a GIMP post work?

Mad-Man-with-a-Pen In reply to AzureVirgo [2015-01-26 00:13:53 +0000 UTC]

I used one of the more techno looking objects to be a 'sucking' pad, sized them down and just started placing them across the glove. So had to do it myself by hand. Hope that makes sense.

It makes sense. Probably would've drove me crazy by the time I got to her middle finger.

That's what I like best about what he came up with, and she looks somewhat similar to Crimson at that stage of her career which was something that was a bit intentional in a way.
