Well this imae has been sitting on my desktop for ages. these are the first off colours i chose. of course created in Illustrator CS.i used only a few shapes using the Opacity, but actually not on the glasses.
i also played with the mesh tool for the 1st time!!! woot! (on he lip ring)

the mesh tool creates gradients like custom gradients

vectoring in illustrator is so much easier but i can't figure out how to change opacity

hrm well the opacity is in the box with stroke gradient and transparency.. go under there... ou'll find it..

well it really isnt that hard! coz i only mainly work with the pen and pencil tool to create shapes. the rest is colour selection and design principles
