my advice: make every drawing you make an experiment to try something new and push your capabilities! i like to try lots of different kinda of traditional media, because it kinda forces you to find new ways to draw!!! owo

Thank you Pixie!!! I was worried about using the gell roll pen, but you're right i prefer it to the other version too! I'm so glad the pose looks natural, i imagine he's kind of a chill dude (seeing as he has no emotions) so he'd draw his sword in a relaxed way uwu

They're both great, but I'd definitely pick the one with the gell roll if I absolutely had to choose

i made the base sketch in pencil, then erased it until i could just baaaarely see it. i painted the most obvious parts first then eventually filled it all up, then i used less water and more paint to do colored line art at the end!!

I went a little fast with the gell roll pen because i wasn't taking it seriously, i thought that it was better without. but then i finished adding the pen and was like WHOA ok maybe this is great XD
i'll definitely use it more in watercolor, and this time i'll be more attentive to straight lines XD
