Description Meet the Amorphodactyla!
Yet another taxum form the planet Temere.

They are basal lifeforms inhabiting bodies of water: seas, lakes, rivers.
Their relatively simple bodies absorb necessary gasses through their surface.
Their body is very flexible and they move in a ameboid way.
The flexibility of their bodies makes it possible so that amorphodactyla can create structures resembling legs, tentacles, fingers, graspers or fins by internally relocating their cells.
The structure's shapes can be specific from species to species.

This gives them an advantage that they can form basically every ,,tool" they need from themselves, but also a disadvantage of being soft bodied nutritious slow moving snack. In order to protect from predators almost all of the Amorphodactyla species develop protective shells inside which they live.

The Amorphodactyla occupy a variety of niches but most are either predatory, scavengers or mixotrophic.
When hunting they surround their prey and start injecting it with their aggresive digestive juices. After the body of the prey reaches a mushy consistency, the animal absorbs it through its surface.

Amorphodactyla reproduce mostly asexually via budding. The parent selects a certain part of the body in which it concentrates nutrients and other necessary substances.
after the part grows into a certain size it disconnects from the parent and starts living on its own.
This is the mist vulnerable state, because the young clone has yet to develop a new shell.

I don't even know why I added the numbers ....

1. this specie is monogamous- even though most Amorphodactyla are hermaphroditic, two members of this specie can be found living in one shell for the entirety of their lives and sexually reproduce only with their "housemate''.

2. This specie and a lot of its relatives have a degree of specialisation in different parts of the body. While the parts which are sticking from the front and rear ends are used for moving, the ones sticking from the smaller serial holes in the shell are used for hunting and digestion.

3. similar specie

4. this one on the other hansmds uses one kind of tissue both for moving and hunting.

5. the same lifestyle .

6. A species to. learned how to "walk" on the seafloor. its shell evolved according to this.

7. smaller specie od amorphodactyla which relies not on the strength of its shell but rather on it being very difficult and unpleasamt to eat for predators.

Questions and suggestions are welcome!

The singular of "species" (pl.) is "species", not specie. Common mistake, just letting you know
