I don't think this is lacking detail. I think doing anymore to it would make it loose it's painterly effect. The only thing that sticks out is the bottom right corner, but I kind of like it compositionally. It draws the eye down and gives it balance.

Wow, I think you capture the beauty even without much details! The thing I really love about this is the angle of the light, and how it shines so brightly on the edges of the face, and creates a wonderful shadow. Such ambience and thought is in this; absolutely lovely!
