What fascinates me about this (and many of your other paintings) is how the reversal of everything not only works but triumphs by breaking those rules. The sky is on top of the trees, the background is on top of the foreground, the light is on top of the dark. Β It's a new way of seeing the world which feels like a gift. Kinda makes you go, "Oh! Of course!".
It's very inspiring, in a "Well, I think I'll just give up now" sort of way.Β Β Β
