yes sometimes defaults and sometimes custome ... do you have a good tablet? and did you learn traditional painting like (oil painting) before painting in digital ?

yup! I use intuos 4 and yes i draw in the traditional + digital way, but I find it strange that u can get such a great result using photoshop,for some reasons i cant get clean lines when i use it , the "flow" of the brush is inconvinient or uncomfortable that lines do not end up the way i want and i have to try over and over while its a way easier if i use painter. thats why am asking abt the brushes u use.i use ps to color and it goes fine, the problem is in line drawing only and i get frustrated when i see that vone is using it while im the only one with such a problem

i think everybody have this problem, in line drawing it is hard.... there is nothing wrong with your tablet... the difference between the tablet size and the monitor size affect it... but photoshop doesnt smooth the lines anyway, unless ur drawing ur lines with Paths
