because Natgasher drew bonnie, i had to draw pelma in return!! pelma is so sweet and she was so fun to dress up ;_>; !! also the cj discord was talking about anime while i was drawing this, so i made it into an anime screenie y e e t,,
also the immediate day after thanksgiving for me is literally "IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIIIME OF THE YEAAAAR" because i'm just in that festive mood!! fite me

oh!! it's basically a lot of "duplicate layer" => "put effects on duplicate layer in photoshop/gimp/firealpaca/etc and lower opacity of the layer"
for example, with the softer look, i did that but the effect i applied was a low gaussian blur (3-5 percent). i sometimes also put the blurred layer on "overlay" afterward, but it can sometimes make your darker-skinned characters look lighter-skinned unless you tweak the hue of the blurred layer. so, i don't use that layer effect much when working with darker-skinned characters. i'll actually make a more in-depth tutorial later when i have the energy because i love sharing the wealth of art knowledge!! :^D
