Description
When I first saw the Hammerhead in IlClan Recognition Guide Vol.5, I was instantly sold on the design. It's chunky, especially for a medium, and the loadout is pretty aggressive.So when David Vivas of Everything Battletech approached me to see if I would want to model the design as part of his Community Art project, I was happy to oblige.

That’s correct! It was a fun challenge and a good way to study a unique looking mech. I totally agree with you on the fingers, especially with the Battlefist quirk. If I were to tweak the model I’d probably make them look more like the Awesome’s.
SirDubDub has mentioned the idea that mechs can be thought of as ‘Armored Kaiju’ in terms of how they move and how they are perceived. I think the Hammerhead is a good personification of that idea! It’s also a great example of making a totem mech that isn’t over the top

Yeah, it’s pretty great stat’s wise! Maybe the only complaint I would have is that it’s a little under armed for my taste. But, having a third of the mech’s tonnage in Armor is appreciated too
