I am gonna assume that you shoot manually since that the first thing you must learn before everything. and what tips are you looking for? macro photography?
if so then how i got better at these shots is to actually get to know your lens and your camera, theres a lot of numbers on the a macro lens have you ever wondered what are these?
Now before I bore you to death, what tips are you exactly looking for? nature droplets like these? whats your equipment since we can make the most of it!

well, I know about my camera and I have just a couple lens or well it is just a macro that goes to 55 and then an attachment but I will be getting other ones but I like taking landscapes and close up shots like raindrops and flowers ect animals but they never turn out the way I want them to. I see all these other pictures and they look so great! So I guess Idek just w.e you think from that terrible description I just gave you. XD

I dont think your 55 is a macro lens, is it the 18-55 f/5.6? If thats it, then thats the kit lens, to be honest, i did not use this lens at all, its performance is quite bad, because its a "kit" lens, it was not made for ultra hight performances.
But you could use it, but for me I had the 50mm f/1.8, the best sharpest results with a nice bokeh are the lens that have a small aperture number like 2.8 or 1.8, could you tell me what is your gear right now? You could make a macro lens with the cheapest as possible, and get great shots.
Now that attachment you said is a "closeup filter" or a macro filter, its the most amazing/inexpensive way to get decent macro shots like these, its simply like putting a magnifier in front of your lens.
Keep in mind that getting these shots, wont simply happen in a day, I spent more than 7 months learning macro photography, and with that knowledge i apply it in my shoots, i try to show the best of my shot, do you want how i did that picture above? because I've been talking alot sorry...
