Description Akumuizumi; a inu-youkai whose influence stretches back to when InuYasha was living with his mother as a child and being ostracized by the other nobles in the castle. The would-be Mistress of the Dogs sends a murderous band of youkai to the castle where they storm the place and savagely kill everyone, all the while looking for Izayoi and her half-human child. Both are viewed as a dirty smudge on the Clan of Dogs and Akumuizumi wished to destroy them but fails to do so when InuYasha's mother hides him and then leads the band away. This buys him enough time to get ahead of his pursuers, but not by much. He finally loses them when he hides in a narrow cleft several yards down on a cliff face, while the stymied youkai cast about for him above.

These very memories are called up and used against InuYasha during his imprisonment, making him feel great responsibility for all the lives lost that night.

Thanks! It's part of the deeper conflict in my fanfic. He is driven to the edge of madness and held there....

That's a great compliment! Thanks! At first, it was hard portraying InuYasha this way. (I do love him after all...), but I needed to show how far he had been beaten down and brought low in Dogs of War....(a fan fic still in progress...)

yeah, i dont think i could draw InuYasha like that (and not just 'cus i can't draw lol) but i kinda like seeing him portrayed like this. It's a tad sadistic, but it's cute seeing him in a kind of..."defenceless" role for once.
I'll be sure to look up the fanfic; it sounds cool

It is often said that if you truly love your characters, you will hurt them. Takahashi must have loved him very much to do as much as she has to him! He's been captive a few times, but never for long. I just wanted to take it that much further....

lol totally I just re-read the scene with human InuYasha and Jakotsu. Man, Takahashi must love InuYasha ALOT to put him through that kind of physical torture plus Jokotsus sick fantasies lol!

I don't know if you've read the manga, but at least the new episodes have finally shown the "Tears of Blood" sequence, short though it was. In it, InuYasha was bound to a post and made to shed tears of blood as he dreamed of Kikyou whom he missed so much.

In Dogs of War, I do it a bit different, but not too much, really. He is tortured mentally by regrets of the past, but he is also tortured by the jailers in the employ of Akumuizumi. She doesn't much care what they do to him as long as he's kept alive until her plan is complete.

I will only say that he does escape....

Thanx! NO, I haven't read the manga. I am also not quite done watching the series. I'm getting there though! I'm on episode 100 something-or-other. Can't remember which one it was...

Wow. This drawing sends chills down my spine. Poor InuYasha.
Your story becomes more intriguing with each drawing.
