Continuation from [link]I'm kinda disappointed, but it is my first try at this and I don't have much of previous references (other than the handful of screencaps).
To make it worse, my materials came in late and this was due for Anime North 2012, so I only had 2 weeks to build this keyblade. I hate rush jobs...
I wish I had more time to practice and to figure out how to paint the keyblade to look realistic.
Oh wells, still a good first attempt, I suppose.
Will make a better 2nd version within the next year.

Nope. And last time I checked (June 2013), this is still the only proper 3-dimensional good quality one in the world.
Most people went for the flat cut-out. Funny part is that over half of them uses my vector and most of them never even ask permission or give credit. Lulz.

The closest thing to that would be the rapier-shield sets that I'm planning on making for my upcoming team cosplay of MLP:FiM's Princess Celestia and (Prince) Luna. LMAO~!!!

Well, hopefully everyone who sees it during its debut will enjoy it.

Usually I'd do gesso, but I wanted it to survive longer.
If I was not pressed for time, I'd spend a week during the plastic outer layer to shape it better, the file and sand the hell out of it to remove lumps and drags.I'd also love to spend a week playing around with colour to make it more fiery. Hehe.
