Head is tilted, I just make the lips look a lot fleshier than most do and it obscures a lot of ventral detail.

I actually think you did well enough for someone who claims to not be very good at drawing tilted heads. And the whole drawing is quite nice for the most part as well. I only say "for the most part" because I don't really agree with restoring predatory theropod foot claws like the bluntish, unevenly-shaped foot claws of modern ratites (as some people do), but other than that though.

why would a large theropod, whose primary weapon is its mouth, need or possess sharp talons?

A killer whale with a mouth full of sharp teeth also has a head that can be used for ramming other animals. Just because an animal has one primary weapon doesn't mean it can't have any secondary ones.
My fundamental concern here is their shape. It's just that, theropod footprints with preserved claw marks seem like they indicate that the foot claws were pointed in life; IIRC, that's one of the ways you know a dinosaur footprint was made by a theropod. So that led me to believe that they'd be more accurately depicted as more spike-like.
I admit that I personally think theropod foot claws could have been used for raptorial purposes of some sorts (even if they weren't the primary killing weapons), but I'm aware that not everyone would agree with this notion (if it's even occurred to them at all). This, and as I said because my fundamental concern here is really just their shape, is why I didn't flat out say "the foot claws were used as weapons so they need to be sharp".

Have you SEEN what ostriches can do with their foot βnailsβ? Iβve seen some pretty fucked up lions.

Iβve never seen a reliable account of an ostrich badly injuring or killing lions, contrary to often-repeated claims on the Internet. I know what they can do to people, though and yes, itβs rather nasty.

Head looks very shallow, but the excuse is reasonable. Other than that, pretty solid. Good job.

I can't help but see the head as a goofy looking duck-head, but still very nice!
