Task manager not opening. I recommend you make a shortcut to task manager and put it in skin folder and use !execute command.

You need to have Rainmeter 2.3 beta r1372 or higher to get it to work with "original" command in this skin.

Clicking on Open Task Manager doesn't open the Task Manager. I'm on Windows 8 64-Bit. Any custom line or anything I can do to solve this?

Have You installed latest Rainmeter beta?
If not or don't mind to..
Edit skin > skip to latest "section" - [TMLink]
And replace
MouseOverAction=[!SetOption Label4 FontColor 0,130,255][!update]
MouseLeaveAction=[!SetOption Label4 FontColor 50,50,50][!update]
LeftMouseUpAction=[taskmgr]
to
MouseOverAction=!Execute [!SetOption Label4 FontColor 0,130,255][!update]
MouseLeaveAction=!Execute [!SetOption Label4 FontColor 50,50,50][!update]
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute [taskmgr]
or You can replace last one to
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute [TM.exe]
to open the new task manager instead of "classic" one
