Description Articuno was one of my absolute favourite pokémon back in the old days! Together with Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia they form my top 4 pokémon based on their coolness and background story! (guess what movie was my favourite! )

And haha! I remember a time where I catched Articuno in pokémon Yellow, but I didn't quite realized how awesome her stats and typing were. ... You have to understand, the pokémon games were always in English, and since English isn't my first language, I coudn't understand a single bit in the first years I had the game.. (I was 7 years old perhaps?). I had no idea what type advantages ment! ... I discovered ingame that ofcourse water-moves were super-effective against fire, but I didn't realized that you had ice types, psychic, poison, fighting, dragon etc.. As long as I won the battles EVENTUALLY...

And since Articuno was blue, I thought, oh! now that will make a nice Water type.. *snort* I was so dissapointed how bad this guy failed against Blaine with all his fire-type pokemon,.. Afterwards, I immediately banned him from my team...
... If I'd only knew that ice would give sooooo much problems to Lance... haha! ...
Also, No bulbapedia back then to back me up!...

.. I also remember that back in the old days, I always tried to draw her, but coudn't because I lacked drawing skill to do it... I hope that now, I've done a much better job!

Such a beautiful looking Articuno! I love how you drew her head, so elegantly, just like her flowing tail.

I also remember back in Yellow when I had to go through that awful ice cave to get to her. It seemed like so many twists and turns, and I didn't even save before the battle, so I ended up making her faint and having to start all over again! Now after playing the remake FireRed, it still feels like SUCH a long way to capture her, but the effort is worth it

Thank you! I tried to bring out both her elegance, and icy typing, so I'm very glad that you noticed it!

I was quite good with the caves! I even figured out how to go trough the dark cave before lavender town without the usage of flash! back then I even didn't know how to use repels,... so yeah! and ALL the trainers.. poeh...

And I remember that if you did something wrong in the icecave, you could end up trapped, or unable to continue.

uhu!! I know!! ... I released a wartortle this way once... That was kinda stupid... And I always had to ask my older sister how I could get past the obstacles that I didn't understood... also kinda embarassing!
I was also around that age! I think I got yellow at my 7th birthday!

In my case as well! I'm addicted to the games! haha!
... But now I'm challenged a bit.. The new game will be released on the 3DS alone...
Is it worth it to pay for a 3DS just so I could play pokémon? ... phoeh...

Well you do have some awesome other games for the 3DS. I don't know what type of games you like? I'm a huge professor layton, harvest moon and animal crossing addict. And unlike with the older ds types you can connect to the wi-fi and connect with others by that. While on the DS you had to have a WEP internet connection (and since we had WPA I could never trade or visite other peoples in games)

except for pokémon I don't realy play other games! ... Altough, I have played the layton games, and Those were indeed quite fun! ... First I'll need some money!

.. but I've changed the password security here to WEP! Normally we have the WPA2, but when I'm alone, I tend to change that security to wep, solemly to connect my ds on internet!

but it should be a lot more convenient if I can simply connect a device with the normal WPA2 security...

Hmm in that case I can imagine you don't think a 3DS is worth it ^^'' But well maybe you'll find some new games someday you would like to play, and than it's maybe more worth to buy it then (or never, but well than so be it right)

Yeah, I guess it's different to each internet provider. I was lucky enough that mine simply just has a page on their website with the possibility to change it if I'd wanted to!
... But I admit... before I figured that one out... haha

As for generation 5, I think that Generation 5 did had some excellent pokémon statwise, and some designs were not that bad! The sandile evolution was quite good, And I did like Reshiram! ... Except for that weird.. Thingie between it's legs... .. but On the other hand Trubish... good lord... ... and the connection between a pigeon and a pheasant... Good havens no...

Yes... I'll end up spending al the moneyz on pokémon... no matter how ugly they may become!

Or I should organise some cheap pokémon commissions to have enough money to sponser it to a new DS and game card? ...
Now that's an idea!

That's for sure indeed. And with black2 and white2 you could also catch older gen pokemons, so that's definitely a big win
Lol trubish, that's definitely one of the biggest disappointments everr xD

I caught a riolu but it's still in my box. It was almost a shame you could catch such awesome pokemons right from the start, since I always want to start with a small team xD
So it was a mareep and growlith for me ^^ (+ochawott)

You make them on paper right? Are you planning on sending the drawings with the mail or just digital? (or both, than you could ask more for sending it 8P)

I too had ochawott! haha! but I switched it for gyarados later in the game!
I didn't realy liked the mareep-evolution that much... while having amazing power, I realy didn't like it to be that slow...
... But njah,... since there wasn't any alternative (the elekid-evolution, but that one required trading for full evolution, magnezone looked so ffing ugly >->, zebstrika was fast... but that's about it) I chose mareep! ^^"
And ofcourse growlith! Arcanine was the best!

Futher I had lucario, (aura sphere! WIEEEH!
a crobat (amazingly surprising how decent it was!!)
and krookodile! decent bulky, while having some speed as well!
