Aw, this photomanip is really cute! From the thumbnail, I couldn't tell if it was something surreal, but now I can see! I love that the focus is on the baby in the scale -- something adorable. The message isn't hard to find at all, and you haven't distracted us from the point of the deviation. There are some things I would like to offer feedback on, though. The main thing is that without the title of the deviation, I really wouldn't know what the message was. I would probably immediately think, "Why is there a baby being weighed?" So, maybe making the message more apparent within the actual deviation would help.
Also, I bet there are some awesome brushes or effects to add some texture to the basket the baby is in. Right now, it looks really good and fluffy, like down feathers! I just think that the left side has less texture than the right.

Overall, very nice manip. I think you've done well, just some feedback that I mentioned above.
Additionally, did you use stock from deviantART? Just as a suggestion, usually the artists whose art you do use want you to link back to their page. Just a thought.

Thank you for the input. I wasn't really intending for this to be an art-piece. More something that I would shoot if I had a studio and the means. I wasn't ever planning on sharing it with anyone but friends and the client whose baby I did the original photo shoot of - the background, scale & floor were found on google months ago, and I haven't had any luck finding them again to give credit. If I ever come across them, I will of course credit them Thanks for looking!
