meh he won't have to repopulate the whole earth ... I'm sure there are other air benders out there possiby from some other avatar's family line that were not mentioned, since the avatar is of all four elements it is fesibly(sp?) possible that somewhere down their family lines there could randomly be an airbender ... maybe. Not to mention that we see some people in ATLA that seem to be more airbender like hiding out in various nations and keeping their bending hidden from everyone. Plus the crew that took over the Air temple could if they followed the ways of airbenders could have some airbender born as well ... so Tenzin and Puma are not alone in the effort to repopulate.

I kinda thought that after I wrote that last message ... as most "motivational" poster/images like this are jokes. I guess I was just a bit sour from reading through ome rules for an rp .. they wouldn't allow anyone to be an airbender even if they had a good storyline for their background as to why they were airbenders ... like they couldn't think outside the box. And I apologize if I came off sounding mean at all it was not my intent at all

No problem. Not sure if you read the comics at all, but this issue was covered. A few Airbenders did survive the first onslaught, but Sozin tricked them back into areas where Airbenders may gathered with Air Nomad relics and massassacred the survivors.

Almost the moment I saw this scene, it struck me that Aang can't have lived long enough to see his Airbender gene being carried on to his grandchildren. That's a bit sad.
