The internet is great when you use it as a complement for your life, but you can't let it become your life. Of course there is more acceptance on the internet. I am a great BBC Sherlock fan, for example, and I spend a lot of time watching fanvideos and fanarts online. I reblog a lot of posts on Tumblr, and no one was mean to me because of that. But in real life, my friend said I am obsessed and looked at me as if I was weird because another friend and I are wearing bracelets with the words "John" and "Sherlock" on them. So I understand you...

It's difficult to let go of something that makes your life happy. Many people on here understand that, as they come on here for the same reason, most of them. 

I post art on here, and people respect me for it, I've even earned a few friends.

But in the real world, I'm judged because I can only draw dogs and cats. That's the only thing I can draw, and they call me crazy for it. It's just upsetting.

Don't let people make you feel sad because of that! I usually admire people who can draw dogs and cats because I'm AWFUL at drawing any kind of animal... All I do is drawing people, but I can't draw animals, plants or backgrounds to save my life. Each artist is unique and personal. One might be wonderful at mixing colours but horrible at perspective. One can be so good at drawing eyes that that is all he draws. Just do what you like. If you wish you could draw something else than dogs and cats, then go for it and look for reference, copy pictures, practise and try and try and try. But if you are happy drawing cats and dogs always, don't let it become a problem. It's what makes you happy, right? That's all that matters. People shouldn't be so annoying about this kind of issues. Live and let live, right?

I don't know why I put it on her face... It would be better since like this it's not covered by the candles (I had to use an extra layer for the word "Internet" so the third candle is over it), and I'm not an expert on this xD
