this has so much emotion in it. and I can't put my finger on why.
I suppose it is the body language (as though kneeling, or something) and the title does much to put the viewer in the subjects shoes.
But mostly, I love love love the muted colors, and the dingy overall effect. The lip color is so beautiful against the dark shirt. wonderful work
