Description As you can see, my skill at choosing names for my pieces has not improved.

I'm pleased with the lighting in this one. Shows Poser still can still cut it against D|S without any fancy plug-ins. Not sure how much longer for though, if they don't keep developing the program like Daz are with D|S.

I am happy to see you post again. The lightwork is fantastic, but I've always thought your lighting skills were excellent. Poser has excellent lighting, I've never disputed that and people make great light sets for it all the time, but D/S now has some great speculars, shaders, and so forth that are just "better" and look like renders I've only seen in Vue or carraaarrarra or C4D, or Max, or...etc. Like you said, I hope support or updates are released for Poser or else I'll be forced to defect. In either case, you've rendered another classic beauty Adrian.

Thank you Cheryl.

Yeah D|S... I get intensely loyal to things... sometimes illogically so. I have put a lot of time into Poser and can see it losing ground to D|S - it pains me to see/say it. The issue to me is that so much content is specifically set up to work in Poser and much still says "not tested in D|S" also for years, as I have collected stuff I have ignored the D|S specific files. I can go back and download a lot of these files from for example Daz or Rendo but I have lost track of where I got everything from and I don't always know if an item HAS a D|S specific file that I am missing.

So... I am a bit torn both ways. I would like to explore D|S but it means a big investment in time that I don't really have, sorting out missing files and perhaps losing some of the benefits people put into thir products specifically for Poser. Aery Soul, for example, steadfastly refuse to directly support D|S, saying Poser is better still.. and they know more about Poser than most anyone. (Well, at least that was their stance only a couple of months ago... I havn't looked lately)

I have no energy or desire to learn another program right now unless it's Vue or something major like that. I like D/s but there are other more versatile programs out here. I hope Aery Soul continues to support Poser exclusively. They have the best light tuts around.

Right after I posted this I downloaded the latest D|S. Where are the "super quality" render settings? I must be missing something... I rendered a scene and it just looked flat and dull compared to the same scene in Poser. I had set the lights zackly the same, same character, clothes, everything... and eeeww... Its probably my lack of knowledge but I really could not see what I was doing wrong.

Strange, your messages aren't showing up on my page at all. I had no idea you replied until I happened to look at your image again. Hm...
As for D/s I have no idea what that program looks like. I just know works I've seen and myself and several Poser artists are starting to express jealousy. I think it's specific shaders and environment sets that Daz is selling for d/s that do not work in Poser.

thank you. I know what you mean about the "stars" (which weren't meant to look like stars, just light flare)
