Well, You find Hellhounds in the Golmore jungle, near Eruyt Village and Ozmone plains.

Oh, and I meant "Giza Plains" (Gaza is the name of a city in Israel, if I am correct), sorry about that.
Anyway, I remembered I had seen them while my brother was on the Ozmone plains. The good thing was that he was on a Chocobo.
