Here's another view of Albot the Robot from summer 1997. I added some effects to this scan only about a year later, and fuzzed up what wasn't an amazing photograph in the first place...it was mostly to take out the background on the left hand side of the picture, which was, I think, some derelict shops. I don't know if I still have the original snaphot. I did succeed in erasing the lighting stand which was supporting poor old Albot, though, as his tubular cardboard legs weren't really up to the task.Related content

It went through quite a few different shapes in its evolution. I should have taken more pictures of it on the day. I might get in touch with the photographer again, and see if she still has any of the pictures she took.

It's a pity it's so fuzzy...I scanned in a snapshot at a time I didn't really know how to scan things at high resolution. I must trawl through my boxed of old photographs and see if I have any more pictures from that day.
