Description
Here is a commission for a guy I went to highschool with, he contacted me asking for a commission of this cat.Took me awhile to figure out the cat's pose, the reference he gave me confused me. Like 80 different light sources too. I think I did alright.
So acrylics on 8"x10" canvasboard. That stuff is fun, all the colours look richer.
I need to take lessons or something on how to photography my work. So bloody hard.

Hi, nice image, just thought that that size might fit in a scanner instead of photographing, I use them up to A3 size (with some stiching) and get decent results, keep up the work.

It does indeed fit in the scanner but the scans always seem to come out horrible washes out, almost greyscale, and It's impossible to restore with photoshop. Thanks for the suggestion though

It's even harder to get decent photo's of colour drawings. That being said, this looks awesome! It feels as though it's looking right at me.

Light sources in casual photos are a pain aren't they! I think you handled it very well though. :)
I use this guy's guide ([link] ) to photograph my art and I've gotten pretty good results from it - even with my cheap camera.
