Great subject matter to begin with, I like how the symmetry of this guy is on an angle. I also like how his head is the region of focus, but if you had the chance, maybe you could focus on the snake as a whole. The entire picture would pop more if he was totally in focus as opposed to an out-of-focus background. But I gather this is from a zoo, and it's tough to get decent shots there as is. Kudos for the nice composition!

Thanks, and yes, it was at the Georgia Zoo. The thing just had to choose the most awkward place in the whole spacious tank to bask in the heating light. It was in a corner, and it was tough getting in a position where you could get that perspective of the bloody snake.

I've actually heard a lot of good things about the ATL Zoo, and I've wanted to go there and the Aquarium. Yikes, the lenghths we go to get a good shot. Haha. Awesome job, though.
