On this site, I have only found two works that speak to my soul. And this is one of them.
I won't delve into my history, but, like your unnamed character, I too am aware of what awaits me once the bells toll.
There are no skulls on my clock. Just a blank.
And I don't watch the clock.
I'd rather be surprised when it's my time.

I really love this piece. If you just look at it and scroll further you won't notice that it looks like this has a deeper meaning like: Don't waste your time, or something like that.
