Excellent reflections. I had some of that paper, hot pressed, and I was happy with it but learned I don’t like those gummed all around blocks. Too hard to get them gum off.

Yes, paper is not for everybody. I liked the reverse much more, at least on it watercolor effects are clearly visible. What else do we need watercolor paper for, not for effects)

That’s why I often used smooth hot pressed, to let the effects go wild when I throw on turps, methodical, wax, etc.
