I'm saving up to get an iPad and because of a big expense this month I had to spend a lot of the money I had saved for it. To console myself I spent 3$ on a pad of watercolor paper and dug out my watercolor paints. I've never been great at it and that's kind of showcased here. It looked a lot cooler before I painted it. It's better than it could be for sure, and I'm glad I was able to push through and finish it even if I don't think it's perfect. This is my warriors OC Hornetpaw, my scaling is very bad here because she looks rather large. In reality she is an undersized cat and the smallest of the Bellflowerclan apprentices. I meant to give her a fierce expression to showcase her volatile personality but the watercolors kind of messed up a lot of it. I do love the practice though, it's nice to be able to feel out her design a little more. I'm hoping to do one one of her sister Applepaw next.
