very intense picture, you cans ee the emotion withen the character as well, only crit is her neck seems a wee bit to long but all is good.
the color on her arm and lips is waht attracted me more to this picture, the background has this watercolour technique to it too so it makes you focus on the Fushigi more

I think her lips look fine and add to the look on her face. Worry not about the background. It's fine really and besides the character is the focus so the eyes won't drift from her much.
