= Cernunnos owl =My first super sculpey sculpture, for my eldanin's birthday. The chimera owl is his totem and fursona (Feathona?
), named Cernunnos, related to the celtic horned god. It took 40 hours (or more) to sculpt all the feather details, from the armature to the baking. You can see I had a problem on the right horn, it burned cause of the resistance that was too close to the horn. Prehaps it'll be painted, he'll choose.

I'll probably open sculpting commissions when I'll have more experience in sculpting, and when I'll have do all my own characters ♥
using super sculpey and super sculpey firm clays.

c'est parce que c'est de la pâte à modeler, ça XD Eldanin le préfère comme ça, donc je ne le lui peindrai pas. Puis j'aime bien quand même, ce rendu là

De la plasticine. Ce qui revient au même, en fait. Sauf qu'on ne peut pas la cuire.

great work I really like the feathers. And welcome to world of sculpey! its really great clay to work with. Just be careful burning it, some people argue that sculpey is toxic and shouldn't be baked in the oven and you really try to avoid burning it.

Impressive desing. I personally haven't studied much on Celtic mythos, but just as a sculpture of a mythological creature on its own, it's a great piece of a carving.
