Description Buckette Lavender. If you say her first name, prepare to eat Eldritch tentacles. In the FACE!

Miss Lavender here is my character for an upcoming (as in starting next week) D&D campaign being run by , set on the plane that his epic level psion, Buck Lavender, created at the end of our 30-something level game we played on Tuesdays last summer for shits and giggles. Buck had, during the course of the short campaign, impregnated 5-odd ice mephits (maids, no less)out of like 7 we rescued, and Miss Lavender here is the result of one of these pregnancies.

She's Buck's first daughter, and as such, he named her after himself, calling her Buckette (or Bucket, to her siblings). She hates her name and always has, and demands to be referred to as Miss Lavender.

Buckette is a water mephling warlock with a propensity toward her aberrant bloodline (Buck was an Elan), and a disturbing fascination with Illithids. It was only natural, then, that she became a worshipper of the Illithids' god, Ilsensine (a giant brain that lives underneath the Outlands), and her warlockery manifested in tentacle and aberration-type themes. It also was only natural that when Buck kicked his kids out of the castle he ruled from when they were old enough to adventure, she decided to conquer them and use them to exact her revenge on Buck (whose greatest fear are Illithids, rightly so being a psion and all).

Nobody does that to her. NOBODY. Needless to say, her sense of self-importance is inflated to colossal size. Also, she's neutral evil, so there you go.

She's the typical spoiled princess, who is completely sure that she is better than EVERYONE, and refuses to take shit from ANYONE. Unlike most girls with that attitude, she can back up a lot of it with her eldritch blasts.

Buckette stands only about 3' tall, and has a somewhat flat chest. These too are points of annoyance for her, and among her other goals, she at least is determined to enlarge herself, as nobody can take a conquerer seriously when they're shorter than most bar stools. If you look close there you can see her gills on the side of her neck (though she can't breathe water). Her eyes are white with green in the center, but no pupils, hence the odd outline on her iris. I wanted to make them solid white, but couldn't get it to look right. She has the aberrant feat that gives her inhuman eyes, as well as the feat that gives her flexible limbs (e-z-flo elbow!). Her skin, unlike most water mephlings, is more mollusk like, more soft and tough instead of hard and scaly. Again, more aberrant looking.

The tentacles, however, she technically won't have for two more levels yet. As then she'll be taking the feat Deepspawn. But I figured it would look cool to draw them now. Eventually she'll also go for Starspawn for wings, and become very Cthulhu-like.

I loved designing her. She was tough to come up with a look for, being the impertinent little brat she is. Basically, I thought to myself, "curls" and tentacles for her hair, and went on to dress her somewhere between a princess and an Illithid, and I really like how it turned out. She looks badass.

I tried a new linework and colouring technique this time, working large against the trace (as I did the original lines on paper in pencil) and colouring large against the trace, then doing details with the trace against the colour, then removing the trace, shrinking it to the proper size, then doing the shading and highlighting and other assorted doodads. I really liked how it came out, despite how long it took. It definitely helped up the quality. ^^

Amusing fact: When I showed the original linework to he felt bad because he thought she looked hot, what with him having played her father and all. LOL

Finished 05/25/2008.
Done in Corel Painter Classic.

Actually, no. She learned enlarge person, but ended up becoming so powerful, and learning so many spells to increase her number of limbs and grappling ability, she figured a display of power would be enough. Usually was.

Thanks! ^^

DAMN Rockin' ! I also love some of the abberant feats from the Abberations book.

Um, just a question? Were do her tentacles actually emerge from? Lower back? Hips? just curious.

Cheers!

Hehe, yeah, I kind of lazied-out on those, didn't I? They come out of her hips. Unfortunately, I could not get it to look right coming out of her dress. ;.;

Ah, I've seen a 'displacer' type illo some where, not sure if I saved a copy or not.

Best of luck developing her/the character. Aberrants UNITE!

Sounds like a comic book cry, doesn't it?

Ah, 'Lords Of Madness' thats' where all those strange feats are.

Thanks, she's coming along awesomely. The game she's in his hilarious. This past session she got into a firefight with her brother over some rust monsters she was trying to keep the party from killing. XD

That does sound comic-y. Wasn't there a superhero RPG system called Aberrant, actually? I think it was White Wolf...

She had a handful of silver coins and was petting them, being careful to keep them away from her chain shirt. "They're like big, far more adorable puppies who eat pocket change!"

Ain't nothin' wrong with cute + tentacles! It just makes the cute better at grabbing things! ^^

From her personality and skin tone I can't help but liken her to a tentacle-y drow princess. Neutral Evil ftw. She's going to be fun as heck to play.

Concept and personality aside (both of which rock, so you know xD), her design is really cute. I love her hair too. White on purple looks really good. I hope we'll be seeing more of her and "Brain Guy" in the future. Sounds like she's got some promising mis-adventures ahead of her! Keep up the awesome work, Luna xD.

Also, yay for the chance to bring up inappropriate tentacle jokes from here on in. This chick is going to rock when it comes to threats and humor.

Thanks for the fave! XD

I'm glad you like her! I've always been a fan of white and purple, so I'm glad you think it works well. ^^ I'll definitely post lots of stories when they happen. ^^ I'm starting her tonight, so... (also thankee thankee)

Tentacle jokes = spice of life. XD

You're most welcome. I like your characters and she really is cute.

And yay for stories and enjoy breaking her in. Have fun with that xD. I'm sure she'll have an impact. I'm interested to see what the rest of your group rolls as well. They're pretty awesomely creative themselves.

Oh, forever and always. Tentacle jokes are made of win, especially when you've a character that can back them up with actual tentacles *lol*.

lunaticvee27 In reply to Agent-Tetora [2008-06-01 08:13:19 +0000 UTC]

Yay!

Oh, she was SUCH a blast to play. I decided to ease into the "I'm better than you" attitude, but it was still there in spades. An enemy (out of a group we were trying to subdue, not kill) made fun of her for being small after she intimidated the shit out of him, and so she empowered her eldritch blast (using her magic gloves of add a few dice a few times a day, lol) and let the guy have it until he was super dead. >D

Oh the rest of the group is pretty sweet. Bailey's running what is basically a Lensman (from a sci-fi book series) who crash landed onto the plane and is baffled by the concept of magic. Ken's rolling a Diviner with Truenaming feats, who is intensely socially awkward and bookish, and is a total wet blanket. Phawks is playing Ralph Jones from the King of Fighters series, basically, and Joey's playing a psi-blade, one of Miss Lavender's brothers, name of Brody, who is completely self-reliant and is almost as amoral as his sister. He's also a dick. XD It's a great party thus far. There'll be a pic of Ken's character up here soon enough, as he asked me to design him, so I came up with something simple that I plan to start CGing up tonight.

Oh, and boy does she. Her tentacles are an extra set of hands for her. One of her invocations gives her spider climb (manifested for her by growing Choker teeth on her hands and feet), and she uses them to hold her dress down when she's upside down, and she keeps smacking Brody upside the head with them. The ingame tentacle jokes have yet to start, but you know they will. ^^

Her best use of them, however, was when she was intimidating a guy for info in a bar, he tried to scoot away and she wrapped a tentacle around the leg of his chair, then gave him a purple nurple until he gave up the info. XD Doug (the DM) was flabberghasted.

I've totally been hanging out to hear how she played and it was really worth the wait. Sounds like you had a (eldritch) blast!! (bad puns ftl... *shrugs*) And 'super dead' is so much more superior to 'regular dead.' I read that on the internet so it has to be true xD.

As always, your group sounds awesome. Radical mix of characters, and yay for one of Miss Lavender's brothers being played as well. It's like having your very own punching bag, but you're related to it! Yay! And I'm looking forward to seeing Ken's character drawn now too. I can see myself being motivated into drawing fanart again... possibly. My laziness has reached levels of epic proportions of late.

All it takes is one tentacle joke and the rest will follow in a landslide. But then again, she really does seem like the kind of girl you don't want to be on the wrong side of. Or at least in range of. Still, they're tentacle jokes, it's so worth the pain.

As for her squeezing information out of a guy... that's just awesome, and terrifying. I love that you stunned your DM. That's just kickass! Good work! I predict it won't be the last time that happens either. Looks like you've got some fun games ahead of you.

lunaticvee27 In reply to Agent-Tetora [2008-06-01 22:49:23 +0000 UTC]

Augh! *DIES of terrible pun* Wow, that pun was so painful that Ken just shook his fist from across the room! XD Also, you're getting quotes on my journal. The "I read that on the internet" line made me lol hard. Glad it was worth the wait! Yay!

It's a wild group, and apparently Joe K. (who is home from England for the summer) is going to be bringing in a Knight or something. I dunno, he's keeping the concept secret from everyone but the DM, so I worry. Oh, Brody makes me laugh too hard. Joey is definitely a riot. I'm shading Lloren (Ken's character) now, so he'll be up soon enough.

And yes, you should draw! I haven't seen art from you in forever and it makes me a sad panda! *pokepoke*

Oh yeah, and I'm waiting for someone to make it. Miss Lavender is entirely too classy to do it herself, lol. I wouldn't want to be on her bad side either. If the tentacles don't get you, the eldritch blasts will! Heh. Tentacles.

Hehe, glad you liked. The look on his face was great. When I said I grabbed the guy's nipple, he didn't think I was serious, hehe. Oh, I plan on keeping up with that kind of stuff. Miss Lavender's got an incredible intimidate check, and she's not afraid to resort to torture (simple or actually violent) to get what she wants. I love playing a subtly evil character. It's so fun. XD

Agent-Tetora In reply to lunaticvee27 [2008-06-02 15:19:08 +0000 UTC]

Wow, that's some long-range fist shaking. You'll have to pass on my apologies. I do really love horrid puns though. It's a disease.

Maybe he'll be a Knight that says Nee? That would be awesome. But I can see why you'd worry. I can't help but come up with strange Knight concepts now that could be potentially dodgy. I'm sure you all won't be disappointed though. It'd be cool for you to have your friend back too. May good times ensue ^^.

I should draw. Sorry about the absence. Really wasn't motivated. I have done a little work. Mainly traditional stuff though. Portraits and the like. They don't scan well, for me anyway, so I haven't put them up. But I will have to work on something soon though. And sad pandas are sad, and that's not cool ;_;.

I think it's the eldritch blasts that could possibly be keeping her joke-free for the present. Either that of the fact she doesn't mind torturing people. 3 foot tall or not, you don't mess with someone like that. But, I'm sure it will happen, and it's going to be awesome. Haha... tentacles...

Subtly evil? Nipple pwnage is outright demonic! It would be awesome if your character developed an in-game reputation for shit like that, just for pure quirkiness. She really, really does sound like a lot of fun. Oh the freedom to be had when you're amoral.

Hehe, fist shaking from ACROSS THE GLOBE! Epic, no? Hehe, Ken's achilles heel is bad puns, so, hehe.

Oh god, no. We have a rule at the table, whenever Holy Grail gets quoted we all make fun of them and if it gets too bad the offender has to eat their character sheet. Quoting Python at the table (or worse, at a LARP) is like yelling "FREEBIRD!" at a rock concert. Joe has a track record of interesting and amusing characters, so I can't wait to see what it is. It'll be good to game with him again. ^.^

You shoooouuuld! I hear you on traditional stuff not scanning well, though. My new scanner (my old HP won't work with XP and my new compy ;. doesn't like light pencil lines. Or pencil lines at all, really, so it's mostly impossible for me to scan any pencil work art. Sad, because I've been in the mood to do some lately. Aras.

I'll keep you posted, hehe.

It's true. The legend of Miss Lavender and her dreaded purple nurple interrogation will spread across the land! XD

Agent-Tetora In reply to lunaticvee27 [2008-06-03 12:30:25 +0000 UTC]

It's super epically epic. And now I know why I'm bound Down Under... if I were any closer Ken and I would have to battle for world dominance or something! Since I could so easily strike at his heel. But I'm happy that's not the case. Ken seems heaps awesome *thumbs up.*

Hahaha, that's a great table rule. And nice comparison (with Freebird) as well. Has anyone actually eaten their character sheet though? That's just way too amusing to imagine xD. And yay for being reunited with good friends!

I've seen awesome traditional stuff on here so I'm sure there's a way of scanning it decently. But, with the new Hunter coming out, I'm so tempted to redraw and redesign the old cell of hunters. I'm so geeking out over it. I might have to order a copy through work tomorrow (the perks of working in a bookstore. I'll get it for cheep cheep too xD.) Also, just draw traditional stuff if you want to. Who cares if you can post it on here in its full glory anyway? If you're craving getting your hands dirty, why not do it? ^^

You'll know she has a reputation when every character you come across has their chest hidden under an inch of cloth and armor. It's still awesome that you did that ^___^.

lunaticvee27 In reply to Agent-Tetora [2008-06-04 00:47:19 +0000 UTC]

It would be a battle for the ages! Maybe if you ever stop up thisaway again? hehe Give me advance warning so I can sell tickets, though! We can bill it as pure awesome! The Punster from Down Under versus The Man Who Kicked Cancer's Ass! We'll make millions! XD

Hehe, if I recall, I think Bailey (Kimball's player) may have eaten one of his sheets at one point, but I think it was only a piece. Of course, he'll eat anything if you egg him on long enough. I almost got him to eat raw sausage at a LARP once. XD When a 5 foot tall orc triple dog dares a 5 foot 11 half-orc to eat something, hilarity ensues.

Yeah, but I've only gotten the new scanner hooked up as recently as the Phineas picture (the first thing I scanned on the new one), and I've yet to figure out the ins and outs of this scanner. It doesn't enjoy being tweaked as much as my old slimline one. ;.; Aras.

Ooh, I forgot about the New Hunter (how could I, OMG)! Ooh, you should totally do that! I love your Hunter art! Such a crazy cell. XD Sweet deal working at a bookstore. What's your discount like?

Hehe, I might do some more traditional for the hell of it. Actually, I found some old pencilwork I did back in '05 that puts my current stuff to shame (it surprised me), and I'm thinking of scanning it and CGing it up. Maybe I'll do that. ^^

LOL, puny human armour is no match for the Lavender Nipple Tweak technique! *kung-fu pose*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Agent-Tetora In reply to lunaticvee27 [2008-06-04 15:00:35 +0000 UTC]

Let's face it, I'll get my ass kicked. Might as well put on a show and make us some cash since I'm comfortable with that little facet ^^. And millions? I'd be happy making tens! Whoo hoo!

Ewww, raw sausage? That's just terrible. They're not even that great cooked! That's my humble opinion though. And I'm starting to think that everyone knows a guy that will eat anything if egged on enough... it's a beautiful thing.

I see. Scanners are temperamental little creatures. Unfortunately you can't just beat them into working decently. I'm just certain my level isn't high enough to use mine properly. Everything comes out a bit too light, but that's brilliant if I chose to CG my work... which I almost never do *lol*. Still, it's nice to know. And you'll get there. You just need to spend like 5 days tweaking the thing to find its sweet spot. Provided it has one.

Yep, new Hunter. I get 30% off and don't have to pay freight (I'll have to import it from your island, y'see?) so it'll be pretty decent. I can't wait for it though. It's sad that no one I know here is into RP. I'm geeking out so hard and everyone thinks I'm just losing my mind, a little more than usual. It just saddens me that they're missing out on such a wonderful thing. Hunter 2nd Ed. Should be sweet. And I totally need to break out my drawing pad. I'll have to try talk to the group and see if there's anything they'd like done.

Really? That's scary that you found stuff that old that you seriously think is better. Rock on for deciding to CG it though. That should be really cool. Give you some time to see what you used to do as well, which is interesting. Odder still to think you could potentially be giving yourself tips on drawing *lol*. It's almost time-travelling, zomg.

Haha, nice pose there. I totally imagined that with dodgy lip-synching and all. It was definitely of quality ^^.

lunaticvee27 In reply to Agent-Tetora [2008-06-07 09:09:59 +0000 UTC]

Eh, maybe not. Ken's not very violent, and if you keep the puns fast and terrible, it could be like Kryptonite! Indeed, tickets must be sold. XD No matter who wins, we're all rich!

Hehe, he took a bite, chewed, and spit it out, then called me evil. XD If it's cooked, though, I am a sausage fan, but yeah, raw was just gross, and I'm a terrible person for daring him, I don't deny it. hehe I know a couple of guys like that. It's handy. XD

Alas, here's hoping. Good lick with yours too. Maybe you just don't have enough gym badges to train it yet? (Yes I'm sorry I'm terrible.)

Nice discount! When I worked at GameStop we only got 10%, which is crap. Panera Bread gives you 60%, though, which is concentrated awesome. ^^ Aww, is there a local game store near you? Maybe put out a "player seeking group" flyer there or something? There's gotta be something! Hehe, good luck getting ahold of them! I know I never can, at least on the internets. And Esh never returns phone calls, hehe.

To be honest, I was surprised. Apparently I'd been practicing with poses, and succeeding immensely. It's a picture of a nude koi-fish-style mermaid type thing from behind, looking over her shoulder, all in 3/4, and it looks freaking sweet. When I'm done with my current project I'll probably do it. It's weird. o.o

Wha-cha!

Agent-Tetora In reply to lunaticvee27 [2008-06-09 13:29:39 +0000 UTC]

I'm not very violent either. So it will likely be a very peaceful brawl of epic proportions... however that works. I'd like to think I could win a fight with puns but if that did eventuate it would probably cause me to take a long, hard look at myself and I don't think I'll like what I'll see *j/k j/k.* I'll probably realise I'm demon-spawn or some such to be able to defeat others in such a manner.

Though being demon spawned would be pretty awesome...

You cracked me up with the gym badge comment too. It was terribly awesome xD. Pokemon references win. My girlfriend rolled a new warrior on WoW and I convinced her to name it Splashattack. Good times xD.

Yeah, the bookstore discount is pretty sweet. I used to work at an electronics store and got 5%... worst discount EVAR. So it's a nice change from that at least. And the sad thing is that the only 'local' game store near me is in the city and a fair hike away. I don't have that much spare time anyway too... I'd make the effort for friends, but can't seem to get the motivation to find a random group. Seems like too much work *rant rant rant.* Potentially worth it, but I should just work on my art if I have that kinda time. Thanks for the suggestion but; unfortunately that kind of gaming isn't that common. I will file the idea away to ponder on. As I said, it's a good idea.

You just reminded me that I wanted to put a post up on myspace (*sigh* I know... laaaame) letting everyone know about the Hunter art thing I intend to do. Most use that and it saves me the effort of having to stalk everyone over teh interwebz. Thanks again.

That mermaid picture sounds rad. I'm pretty damn intrigued to see it actually. Something to look forward to! Yay!

Hehe, the son of a demon of puns. Interesting. Being demonspawn isn't always bad though. Look how many interesting protaganists in video games and anime and movies are demonspawn! It's like an easy-in pass to adventure and awesome! It's like, "You're the kid of a demon? Okay, you're in. Here's your seven assorted belts, your hair gel, and your obnoxious impossible sword."

Splash attack! YES! That's awesome! XD "What the fuck do you mean you don't know hyper beam?" I love Pokemon far too much for somebody who hasn't played it since Silver/Gold came out. We always made jokes in Iron Kingdoms Part Deux about Hoon's daughter, who specialized in defense and armor and had little to no offensive capability. "Jeanne used harden!" "Jeanne used defense curl!" "Jeanne used withdraw!" "Jeanne used splash attack!" Hilarity. XD

5%? Holy shit that's crap. My condolences about being a distance from the city. Then your only recourse is to convince your friends that gaming is awesome and they should become part of the "Cool Kids". Godspeed!

lolmyspace (had to be done). I think that's the reason I can never get ahold of them anymore. They've all moved from LiveJournal to Myspace (why, I'll never know), and I refuse to follow. Myspace makes my dialup so slow that it actually moves backward in time. Hehe, also, you're welcome!

Once I'm done with the obnoxious project I'm on now, I'll work on that next. I might scan and post the original pencilwork in the meantime, for shits and giggles. Also: Yay, people looking forward to my art! Talking to you makes my ego HUGE, lol!

Agent-Tetora In reply to lunaticvee27 [2008-06-13 12:48:57 +0000 UTC]

Now I wish I was demonspawned. That would be awesome, and a welcome excuse for my humour xD. And I'd also like an obnoxious impossible sword. That would be sweet. Only if I got Limit Breaks or super moves though. Otherwise I can't see it being too useful. I need to work on that...

Haha, I love that flash as well. And the "Team Rocket? Team Rocket can suck on mah balls! Use a splash attack!" Classic stuff. And I was in the same camp. I played Silver before I got Diamond and Pearl a little while ago now. Took me a little while to get around the new types and whatnot, but it's still essentially cute critters pwning each other. I mean, what's not to love? And yay for pokemon moves. I still often say that I'm using them myself. Splash, of course, being my favourite.

I'm trying to convince my friends that RPing is cool. Thanks for the luck, I'll need it. I am trying to get my girlfriend into at least reading my W.O.D. stuff since I told her it may help her with her writing. She gets stuck for ideas a lot. My logic being that RP books are made to help you write stories and characters, and I strongly believe they're wonderful for getting your head to think in such a way. And if she ends up wanting to play in the end, then that's just a bonus ^^.

Oh, the lolmyspace was a deserved comment. I hate the cretin, but it has its uses. And so far it hasn't done its job. I did my shout-out for Hunter art ideas and no responses. I'll give it some more time before I charge onto Wow, kick some asses and inform some peeps. It will happen.

Obnoxious project? Whut whut whut??? This sounds promising xD. I like the sound of that. And that's pretty funny that you say that I make your ego huge. Talking to you is heaps of fun and I really do dig your work. It's great stuff. And if you feel better for it, then yay. I've no complaints. It does help to know that people look forward to your art, so just know that I do ^^.

Funny that you mention Metapod vs. Magikarp. My friend and I had an awesome pokemon battle that involved magikarp back in the ol' Blue/Red days. We were down to our last two each and he used a suicide technique to take out one of my ghost pokemon... then it happened. Our last dude. And first was mine- the mighty, the awesome, the UNSTOPPABLE... magikrap. Thinking I was boned I waited in anticipation to see what would waste me... and Colin had his magikarp arrive on the scene. We laughed for a fair while and then proceeded to use like 40 splash attacks against each other. Then when out of PP we learnt there's a move that you can use called Thrash. It does pathetic damage and injures you by heaps. And mine being the first out ended up Thrashing itself to death. It was epic and drawn out and possibly my favourite battle ever, even though I lost. It's a story I will tell my children and my children's children, of that I'm sure. Even if it means they'll think I'm some crazy old dude (which they will anyway.)

Okay, sorry about the long story there. Got carried away . And I'm hoping to get Erin into RPing at least a little. What made me think about her checking them out is that she really like Neil Gaiman's work and I realised that his stuff translates into WoD very, very easily. Usually a protagonist that gets drawn into a surreal, screwy and ultimately darker world and just trying to cope. I'm sure she'll get something out of it.

I hear you on MMORPGS. I was of the same opinion, and in many ways still am, but I got dragged into it a while ago when everyone I used to work with got me into playing. I gave it up for ages and then my girlfriend dragged me back in, after professing she would never, ever touch the game. So I play a bit since. Not nearly as much lately since I've been social. Seeing people in the real world is fun. I think the main appeal, for me, for WoW is that it's a massive co-op game. I love that. And I can catch up with friends and chat to people while I play. It's not bad, even if you have to pay.

And crap, I'm writing waaay too much. Long story short, I totally hear you on RPGs being better games (storylines ftw; I dig games with cinematics and endings.)

Yay for massive, massive art! That Grenadier picture sounds like it'll be made of win. Good luck with it and I can't wait to see it. It'll be neat to see all of the 2nd Gen. as well. Can't wait ^^.

Well thank you for being awesome. And you're welcome as well, I guess *lol*. And I really should do some more drawing. I'm working on it. I'll post something on here one of these days. I'm tempted to start a new account though. I figure I'll be more motivated if I start afresh. I'll think on that a bit more though, it could be a pain.

I don't think I'd be able to stand the weight of my own hair crushing me. lol Obnoxious impossible sword has to have its uses, though...

Pokemon is far too awesome for our own good. XD Splash is clearly the best move ever. I'm sure of it. I wanna see Magikarp vs. Metapod in an all-out useless match!

Indeed, RP books are a great way to get into writing! They make your brain do such fun things! Godspeed on getting her into gaming! If there's a place to start, it's surely White Wolf, what with the modern themes.

Hehe, yeah. It seems like that's all those damned kids do these days! Sad, really. I never got paying for MMORPGs. Seems like a waste of money. I can buy a normal RPG, not have to compete with other people for resources, and play it for as long as I want with no monthly fee. And some, like Phantasy Star Online, you get the endless grindan without the need to be online, too. I dunno. *shrug*

Ah, I'm doing a big picture featuring Deckson's Grenadiers (the second generation of Grenadiers) having what is in essence a summer picnic party, in honour of the start of summer here in the northern hemisphere. I was listening to some Bowling for Soup, and "Shut Up and Smile" made me wanna draw Grenadiers partying somehow. I figured I'd do the secondg gen because I haven't drawn them yet. I'm doing it in multiple pieces and putting it together digitally. It's coming along decently, as I have two characters left to draw. Problem is, they're playing volley ball. So it's slow going, hehe.

Aww, thanks. That means a lot to me. Chatting with you is always so fun, too! And thanks some more. ^^ I dig your work quite a lot too! Now if only there were more of it, lol. *poke*

Uh-oh, Evil Cute is a deadly combination! The tentacle dress makes me think of Morticia Addams of the Addams Family. Hee!

Oh dear, worshiping a giant brain is icky! I hope she doesn't get into "too" much trouble.

Lovely design job!! I really like the colors and Lavender's gear and everything.

Very deadly, especially when the DM is a fan of that combination. XD The rest of the party is guaranteed to hate her. >D

Thanks, I was trying to get a bit of a spooky feel to her, so if she smacks of Morticia, all the better! That broad had style. ^^

When the possibility of amazing knowledge is the boon, worshipping a brain doesn't seem so bad, though, no? That little Illithid head thingy on her belt is Ilsensine's holy symbol. ^^ Oh, if she's not getting into trouble, there's something wrong. The DM already told me he's planned for her to get an Illithid cohort at some point. I plan to refer to him strictly as "Brain Guy".

Thanks very much! I was really unsure with the colours, so your input makes me feel a lot better about them. ^^
