Commission for ~FlakeFox

Lame title is lame.
I had quite a hard time deciding which account to submit this to. Considering the guidelines I set up for myself, this should've gone to ~MariahAcorn . But well... I guess in the end I was just a little too proud of this one to put it over there, so I decided to submit it here instead. Let's hope this was the right decision... .w.

Sketching this, I had quite some difficulties in the beginning - as so often lately OTL - especially with David, since I'm not very used to drawing guys. Oh the proportions! D: In the end it took me several days - including larger breaks in between - to finish it at last.
Inking and basecolouring isn't really worth talking about. Same thing as usual. While shading gave me a hard time. my motivation was like... below ground level. I found myself zooming out and just staring at the picture several times. Once I only had a few parts left to fix, I rather threw in the background instead.. x'D
Come to talk of the background, I was asked to put a sunflower and an iris behind them. Well first thing for me to do: Go check, what on earth is an iris! x'D Thus, i stalked a few photos and drawings on deviantART and from that info tried to draw my own. I guess for my first try after not knowing that flower at all, I did quite well in my opinion. o^o
