Edit:Why are you people faving this pic?! Not that I don't mind but wow! So many people are faving this pic left and right! Thank you all so much!One day I randomly stumbled upon this manga called Kilala Princess. When I saw how short it was and it had a touch of Disney, I decided to read it. And wow, this manga was so cute that I got so many cavities! XD
Its just that mushy, cute, sugary sweetness! XD
Then I thought about Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, with her being the 7th princess just like Kilala. Wonder what would happen if these two met? Might be an interesting idea for a fanfic. My guess is both are the 7th princess but in different dimensions.
anyway about the image:
I thought it came out alright except the shading on Kilala's vest could've been better. bleh, one of these days i really gotta get the hang out this shade thing -x- and also if you find that I drew Kairi really crappy, I'm sorry i hardly ever draw her so yeah.... ^^'

With shading, I wanna tell you something helpful - Do NOT be afraid to go really dark!! (Advice from my art teacher in school)

Lots of people are scared to make the shading too dark, and that's fine, but you have to not be afraid for it.Β Ω©(β’Μ€Μα΅β’Μ€ΜΰΉ)α΅α΅α΅α΅α΅α΅
Decide on a light source, and make the shadows follow along with it. If light is coming from the left, shadows will be on the right.Β Ω©(β’Μ€Μα΅β’Μ€ΜΰΉ)ΰ«β§
I know this drawing is older, but I saw some of your recent works and it still seems as if you're struggling a little with shading.Β

Don't worry, shading is difficult for most artists. (Including myself)

It does show that you're improving. I see that you mainly shade the clothes and/or the skin more often than the hair.Β
I noticed that in a few of your recent pieces. The hair and skin weren't shaded, and that makes the piece seem a little bit off(Unless that's just your style)

Like I told you on Yahoo...this came out amazing and adorable too, and the BG you added gives it a nice touch. XD The shading seems fine though we're getting there you just gotta practice, since I'm still practicing myself. :3
