I don't actually know any fitting songs with the ocean or sea or anything in the title so I'm going with this www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggyC0F…

Ok so I was pretty excited about this one. I've listened to virtually nothing but Alestorm and a few other pirate-y songs for the last two weeks or so sooo I've been prepared.

I got in lots of the different sea aesthetics too: Sailor, Pastel Mermaid, Tropical Beach, Coral Reef, Murky Depths and Pirate. I'm so proud.

~These characters are designed with Monster High in mind but they can be used for whatever you want
~You can change minor details about the characters but please don't change the whole thing, I put lots of effort into these and I would not like to see it go to waste

Female beings from Native America that were similar to muses. They were singer spirits that took the form of Orcas.

Seal-people from Scottish, Irish and Icelandic legend. They had seal skins that they could take on and off to change between being a seal n the ocean and a more human form on land. When in human form they hid their skins because without them they would not be able to return to the water. Selkies were considerably more beautiful than mortals and were desirable as husbands and wives, a woman could attract a male selkie by crying seven tears into the ocean but female selkies were not interested in mortal partners, prompting mortal men to steal their sealskins to prevent them from returning to the sea. The offspring of mortals and selkies would have webbed extremities. Female selkies were enjoyed dancing in the moonlight and if selkie blood was ever shed it would fortell a great storm.

An interesting looking creature from the Pacific Ocean, Adaro were mermen supposedly formed from the negative energy possessed by somebody once they had died. They had a swordfish-like spear and shark-like fin growing out their head, gills by their ears and fins for feet. The adaro would travel using rainbows and waterspouts and use poisonous flying fish as weapons against humans.

~Bonito Maiden~

Mermaids from the Pacific Ocean, the Bonito Maidens lived amongst the shoals of the bonito fish and were decorated beautifully in shells and porpoise teeth. The bonito fish were ritualistically important to the people of the Solomon Islands and the maidens would inform the shamans when a shoal was heading towards the islands by leaving a trail of nuts by them as they slept. Bonito fish that had been unsuccessfully caught by the islanders would retreat to these mermaids to have the hooks removed from their mouths.

An ocean nymph from Sweden who would manifest as a hand reaching above the water to warn sailors about oncoming storms. She was considered a friend to fishermen and those gave her the gift of a glove would receive protection and advice on avoiding storms from her.
