I made my own version of the pink haired smurfette shown in multiple scenes of NTOB! Why? because IMPs is SO goddamn lazy to make anything new that they reused assets from Smurflily, Smurfblossom and Smurfstorm's 3D models to make Smurfmeteorite AND Smurfbegonia's designs and oouuhhh i hate it so much. at Least Begonia has a canonical comic design that's actually original/adorable! even for smurfs standards! but nooo they slapped on Storm's hair and a neon colored dress and called her begonia. >:0 For Meteorite, They slapped on Storm's hair and a purple dress. BUT I'll give them credit for unique facepaint detail and fingerless gloves (even though the smurfs still take place in medieval time, yet here's a modern rock band lmaoo). But why reuse storm's hair twice?? its so ugly imo

ANYWAYSSSS Here's my take a better designed Meteorite! (lowkey hate her name too- hgiufd like "oh hey meteorite whats up" just sounds so weird imo but it is what it is-) I gave her a unique hairstyle, eyeshadow, a unique flower on her hat (which is a bat orchid!), colored her shoes to match her gloves (cuz i also hate the random white shoes NTOB gives the grove girls like whyyy it doesnt match at all bruh) and a Grove design to match with the lost village movie and comics! + added accessories to make her stand out just a bit~ I imagine the rocker outfit to be like a "phase" Smurfwillow allows :>

and I'll be working on my Leaf the fairy redesign soon because holy shit she's bootleg tinkerbell and it irritates me so much- Like?? a fairy who wears a short, leafy dress who uses golden glitter as magic?? yeah tinkerbell was a huge inspiration but personally thats way too much for an "original" character. also her name is fucking leaf like wow so much thought was put into this special character. (though TO BE FAIR, it could of been a translation error from french to english but at the same time cMON BRO!!)

like i generally want to support any official smurfs media but when IMPs shows absolutely no care/effort into their new show. it's targeted for kids more than anything, which means they can add as little work in as possible since kids aren't gonna pay attention to the constantly reused animations, copy + paste designs, or even reused plot ideas. (not to mention they support NFTs), it's kinda hard to enjoy it! ... I'm really hoping future seasons will be better than what we've got so far... I cant even rewatch the episodes for just how unsatisfying they are- ysgysgus
