Ok this is one of my contest entries. This is Mac. After looking at the character roster I noticed that the tech savvy character was missing. So I thought of this guy who carries around a notebook around with him and sorta acts as a informative. What do you guys think?Here is a list of my other submissions:

It's a definite finalist by what I'm looking at. Just a small thought a little more poses might beef it up a bit. Hope ya win!

What type of techincs did you use making him?

I use Photoshop for the pieces. I wanted to try out the style that was present in the game, so I started with thicker lines than usual and placed them on a separate layer. Then underneath I would place a new layer to act as a pallet for my colors. To blend the colors I used a transparency approach to match the overlapping colors better then used a smudge tool as a blender to break undesired hard edges.

It's certainly very interesting! Yeah... usually most games have that nerdy-ish informant person. However, you made your character look pretty cool ^^ I really like the idea and the design... maybe... clean up the hair a bit more? ^^ like less black? xD

Thank you, I'm all about the glasses wearing, knowledge wielding heroes in any story. I think those make for the coolest characters! They always are the ones to pull that final puzzle piece out and turn a hopeless struggle into a morale upswing that alters the tides!
