I know Gestalt is a relatively old character, but as I've mentioned in that feature, I have a huge fandom for him. Gestalt will always be one of my favorite characters of yours. Arguably, he is my favorite character of yours. He was an excellent villain with only his own agenda in mind. There was always a guilty feeling for cheering for him, but that didn't make him any less intriguing and exciting as a character.
To this day, I'm still a little confused as to if he won or not, but I've always admired the way you handle your Nuke Town entries as a follow-through story and how he tried to progress for his own means in each round. I still find your Nuke Town entries to be one of the more successful bouts of engaging and easy-to-follow storytelling through an OCT. You really deserved to get as far as you did, especially if you won.
I honestly hope to see more of Gestalt from you and again, fan art desires towards this character tempts me....so much. Sadly, I do have some other priorities though so that's going to have to wait. It will happen though. Until then, I know this is not a new piece, but please keep up the great work coming from an avid fan!

Actually I was just talking to Bracey about this. It's like and this is just my opinion, it's like I don't really know the characters that you guys create. Sure we've got epic Deviant Universe badassery, but nothing else. If I created Spiers, Anarchy or Gestalt I'd have them in DU, but I'd would have a shit ton of comics with just them too. I remember when I told you I was just getting ready to read Nuke Town and you were like: "Oh My God, don't it's terrible" and then I read it and it was fucking awesome, it's not your best work, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine without the guilt. It's the same for a lot of you guys, do you guys just prefer to create DU comics than like make your own series?
PS. I've actually got to thank you for creating Gestalt, I was able to create a few characters based off of Gestalt. You should use him more often.

We tend to make more for the DU because it's the community we are apart of so we are encouraged to make them more. But I'm getting so so SO tired of it so I'm working on writing myself out of the DU so I can do my own comic. I cant speak for others but I tend to do more DU comics because it's a monthly prompt thing and I've already sunk YEARS into this group, so I can't just DROP what I'm doing and do what I want to do. I also can't just make comics about all my characters because that takes so much time an energy. Contrary to my username, I'm not a machine. My nuke town stuff isn't 100% my own either. It's OCT stuff. NO COMIC in my gallery is 100% my own brain child. A make a lot of characters for stuff like RPs and other things and hopefully own comic down the line. I say my NukeTown stuff is awful cuz I did that shit in highschool and the art is gross.

Firstly, the nuke town stuff inspired me to draw that's what I meant. Secondly, I understand, you've gotta continue because It's a community thing and you've put some much time into it. If you're looking to end it, just let the creators of DU know you're going on hiatus until further notice. The popular manga Bleach is going to end really soon and thanks to Shonen Jump (Japanese manga magazine company) he's not going to be able to finish it the way he wants (Fun Fact: He said he still had 10 years of material left!) which is really sad. So maybe you could do what most author do when they're going to end their story, I'd recommend ending it in like 5 chapters, where you wrap up the story and characters. I can feel the frustration in your reply, but some of them are your characters that you created and in terms of making comics based off your characters that all depends on your imagination and what you'd like to create. You've got plenty of time, LOADS I think people get so wrapped up in work and caring about what others think, money, and business that they forget why they do what they do in the first place. Comics are entertaining and should be made because you want to make them, not because you feel obligated to it. You might wanna do commissions or just participate in OCs, maybe comics isn't what you're looking for. I noticed it from the very beginning, your probably gonna have to take some time and find yourself and what you wanna do with your skills. You don't have to make some complicated story with depth and all that stuff, maybe you wanna do something basic. I can't speak for others as well, but I don't really care about what you're drawing, I come for the artist and to see what they're allowing us to see and you know appreciating it by leaving a comment or a fav. I don't type DeviantUniverse.deviantart.com, I touch the letter "L" and my computer automatically fills out Lulzyrobot.deviantart.com because it already knows what time it is!!! (lol). I just saw that Vanguard guy and I've been waiting to see him for a long time, But let me get some Corvus though....xD JK!
I've actually been having some frustrating issues too, I sat around and created 200 characters over a year with three stories that link together with complicated shit in it too. So now I'm just trying to repair and organize where all these bastards go and I swear whenever I draw I can only do it for like one hour and then I give up, I keep telling myself you're gonna progress If you start slacking off. Many Professionals draw for 12 hours working on just one piece of art. I've actually got a question to ask you, but I'll do it later this year, in the meantime I look forward to seeing whatever your working on. Have a terrific Monday.
