This is very beautiful. Β I appreciate that you took the time to dye her hair to match the original. Β I especially love the eyes. Β The before ones look cool and emotionless. Β Yours look warm and bright and a bit shy. Β I'm curious as I'd like to attempt the process myself. Β I've researched many tutorials, but none I've read tell me if you dye and style at the same time, or dye first and style afterward.
I was thinking of using the acrylic process which involves either dipping the girl's hair into an ink-like solution of acrylic paint and water, then putting it in a cold water rinse, or using a thin comb to brush the dye into the hair.
I'm just worried that if I put the doll into the boiling water to "set" her hair that the dye will come out. Β Yet I can't possibly style the hair then dye it...can I?

IΒ΄m sorry, I donΒ΄t really know. I can imagine, that dyed hair might loose the color when you boil perm it, but just try out, maybe IΒ΄m wrong. I just dyed the hair and than put it in place to dry...
