Because Minecraft is such a cool game. The Painterly textures are pretty cool, too.
The creeper - minecraft's own prankster and comedian. It will sneak up on the suspecting resident, let the person hear the last sound before they die ("Sssssss") and then blow up with fatal consequences . Sometimes they walk right in front of the person just to see the expression of the unfortunate miner.
And sometimes they jump through the dark hole in the ceiling you missed and go "Greetingssssss".
All in all, they're pretty fun - until you're the victim.
Also, it got late, so this will replace today's Dark's Platoon.

This is why I always run out of the door, not turning around until I'm no longer in the proximity of structures. Creepers like perching on buildings, pretending they're gargoyles.

I failed to spot them for I built my house in the night with all those lovely skeletions and Creepers out and about. Until I noticed I missed it was to darn late.

now, the fact that its pretty fun until your the victim is true. i got trapped by THREE creepers at once. one of them imploded my glass house.

Making a glass house sounds like a creeper invitation. While I usually play on Peaceful while building, I usually build my structures with enemies in mind. For a glass house, I'd probably prepare an underground tunnel with an exit further away from the house just because of them creepers.

Well, now you could set up remote-controlled dispensers targeted at the roof and destroy any creepers that you see walking on it.
Too bad about the glass house, though. An explosion takes a whole chunk out of those.

One of the Still Alive redstone autoplays in Minecraft ends with several dispensers dispensing cakes. It was pretty awesome.

So, let me get this straight they allow you to make melee weapons and bows and arrows, but why not armor, you could mine to make steel armor and kill certain animals to make leather armor. I'd be epic.

You can, in fact, kill cows for leather, which you can use to make leather armor. You can also make iron, gold and diamond armors, provided you get enough materials for them.
So yeah, pretty epic, eh?

OH! That's epic, but why does nobody talk about the armors?
Also I don't see gold being a very good armor material.
It's very soft and malleable.
And one last question does the armor show up on your character or is it just on your screen for hp purposes.

I don't know, perhaps because you just put the armor on and then don't really thinkg of it?
And yes, gold armor and tools are bad, they're about as strong as wooden tools.
