Description The C-BAR project first began in the late 80s in response to Soviet firearms engineers devising such weapons that used a system to increase hit probability. The project's intended design was to produce an assault rifle that essentially mirrored the BAR system and provide a weapon of similar capacity in Western arsenals. Confederate engineers took a look at various guns which were experimented with to design a system that would be best. Some of the guns that had such a look were the G-11, modified AK variants, FN Scar (which the prototype C-BAR was initially based on). Ultimately in the early 2000s the researchers and engineers agreed on a M16/M4 platform weapon and copied elements from the AN-94 while including a western-made BARS action.

The C-BAR Assault Rifle is slated to replace the AMR Infantry Rifle and become the main rifle of the Carolina Confederacy by 2023. The rifle is equipped with many modern amenities such as many rails. The stock is taken from studies that concluded a side-folding and adjustable stock is considered the best for infantry usage. The magazine is a 20 round magazine but can accept 30-round to 125-round magazines (and inbetween). The gun is chambered for 5.56 but variants exist for 300 Blackout, 9x39, 7.62x39 along with 5.45 and many other cartridges. There is a 7.62x51 NATO variant in production.
