Description
I realized that although I've shown these two on their own, there was not yet a picture of them together!This is Mailan, a young shadow elf prince and his bride, Astriid. They met on a sailing ship and fell deeply in love.
Both elves are very adept with sorcery and shadow magic.
Astriid has recently given birth to their son, Rubeus.

I actually like how thin they both are. There's also something about that hair of Mailan's that just mesmerizes me to the umpteenth degree. I'm not sure if it's how the hairline mingles with his eyebrows, which forces you to pay attention to the rest of his face and leads you to that simply gorgeous expression, or if it's just how it flows in the wind even when there's no wind. I'm not sure.
Then, we can't forget about Astriid. (Love her name, btw) While Mailan looks slightly devious or "at the ready" to be nice, she looks down to Earth and maybe a bit coy. Still, with the softest of expressions she seems ready to help anyone in need that she comes across. She also has a soft face to match that soft expression. Mailan's expression isn't hard, it's just less inviting.
Regardless, both of them are beautiful. I simply love your characters.

Thank you so much for looking into these two so deeply! Mailan is indeed always at the ready. He spend most of the past few years "on the run" and is there for constantly on his guard, looking around him in anticipation for a possible attack. Astriid too had a difficult time, but she is someone who tries to remain positive in any situation, so she's more likely to have a gentle smile.
