Just thought I'd share some art I've been working on for fun. It's been a while since I last drew a shaman tribal like character.I imagine she could fit easily in Leo's Forest

A young spiritual guide, she and her less adventurous twin sister, Fawn'na, were given the title of shaman after completing a rite of passage. However, she was not a shaman by choice. The Shade had ravaged the once great country of Ele'gantae, reverting the jungle-dwelling elves to their tribal roots when their civilization fell to pieces. Bearer of the Angelic Flame, which according to legend has the power to forge blessed objects, Alexander Gladius finds her to be an asset when recreating the Seraphim Shield, which he'll need to destroy the Shade. Due to a war that went on between the countries of Kirkhope and Ele'gantae, Fay and Flor'ra don't get along often. She harbors feelings for Alexander. Flor'ra only hopes that someday, Alex will feel the same way she does.

She's very pretty and I like her design, but is there any reason why you decided to make her have a more European appearance? Just wondering

I like her, but I feel like the tumblr and the like would get mad due to her... whiteness, yada yada appropriation of culture. And they might have a point.
It's a thing to think about anyway. I do really like the stick design.Β

I can see people over reacting in that way and really it's not a problem to me, people can feel any way they like and have whatever opinions they like.
If I enjoy my art it's all that matters, and I like this design

She gives more of a druidic rather than shamanic feel to me, dont shamans generally wear some manner of mask?

Oh she could be more of a druid like character too! Nice observations! I guess I just think of a forest character that uses magic as being a shaman...maybe she could have a mask made of blue flames?

Hm, the kind of masks i normaly see on shamans are made up of bones and feathers, shes also lacking in any bones on her person in the form of accessories like braclets/necklaces, aswell as, again, feathers and aditional pouches, but i feel if she had all that she may lose some of the charm that is in her current simplistic appearance, perhaps consider these aditions for another picture, one with a combat scene or such. And perhaps the bone/feathered mask could have glowing blue flamed eyes with a wee bit of a sinister look to it, as, after all shaman masks are intended to frighten away evil, or good, depending on the nature of the shaman.
