This is amazing, I just can't stop looking at it... Beautifully named as well, it's amazing what a good title can do to an already stellar piece.

I believe that this is best summed up in the words of a tiny plaid ninja: "OMG. This, is too good!"

The textured look is insane! You've done well, the temples seem to pop up from the ground.

Wow. I could stare at this for ages and try to figure out how you managed it. Wonderful design, depth, detail, colors - this one has it all.

Cool!! I like it a lot... would you like to share how you made it?? I'd love to learn from you/it

I forgot... curl3D on the final transform (a small negative value on curl3D_y) for the "planet-surface" effect... I love using it!

Thanks so much!! I will try using those variations.

Sure... The main pattern is made with an escher variation... then I used a combination of zscale and ztranslate for the 3D effect (using only zscale has no effect with these variations, but if you add a little bit of ztranslate the spirals get 3D). If you use a high zscale value (something around 0.99) then a ztranslate of 0.001-0.002 can be enough. I'm still experimenting with these things...
P.S. thanks

Quite stunning. I think I'll have to mess around more with Apophysis' 3D features.
