Description I've people telling me this is a four leg snake, some says just a long tailed lizard while another group conclude this little creature as mutated.

The tail is a bit more longer than what's shown on the photo.

He's a long-tailed grass lizard . Local Petco has one occaisionally. And no "just" about it - this one must be old to have a tail so much longer than 3xbody - he's a survivor! What an encounter !

What do you mean by cute? I had some friends jumping up and down when they saw the lizard running around.

Oh I love lizards...and snakes, frogs. To me they are one of the cutest things...even more so then any "fuzzy" animal. Especially little guys like this. It amazes me that something so small can scare people like that. But then again I am TERRIFIED of maggots! But they are nasty and can bite! These little lizards can't even leave a dent in a persons skin.

I saw a lizard here with an unusually long tail, I wonder if it's the same kind. Pretty crazy

From wikipedia:

The Asian grass lizard, six-striped long-tailed lizard, or long-tailed grass lizard (Takydromus sexlineatus) is an arboreal, diurnal species of lizard. The tail length is usually over three times the body (snout to vent) length in this species.

I have to agree - we actually sell these guys at the pet store I work for and we sell them as 'Long Tailed Grass lizards' (Takydromus sexlineatus)

Do you have any slight idea what species or name does this [link] belong to?

It is beyond doubt that this is a lizard. I saw many long tailed ones, but this is the first lizard with THAT long tail

This is my very first time seeing as well. My friends was discussing back then whether to cut off its' tail to determine the species.

ack no... dont cut off a lizards tail just to identify it...thats cruel. there are tons of forums and places that would be more then willing to identify it for you. ex:kingsnake.com
