“Day seven brings us a race that is an interesting deviation to the previous races. In social intellect, biology, and complexion. Today I bring you, The Glocktopus.”
“Glocktopus; [Glɒk-tuh-puhs]. Plural being Glocktopuses; [Glɒk-tuh-puhses]”
“The Glocktopus is a seafaring creature, resembling an octopus. That’s the most normal explanation of them, as they get their name based on their resemblance of Human firearms. Glocktopuses are smart but not smart enough to construct civilizations, thus they are only live and hunt alone.”

“Revolv; [Ri-volv]”
“Revolvs are the first and relatively safest variant of the Glocktopus. Living in the lower twilight zone, these creatures have an average lifespan of 5 years and an average length of 26 inches or 0.66 meters. Physically, Revolvs are the dangerous offspring of octopi and mantis shrimp, sharing the deadly punches of the ladder. Each punch hits as fast and hard as a bullet, thus receiving the name Revolv after the revolver. Moreover, Revolvs can deliver its punches in groups of 6, further cementing the name. Revolvers are creatures of anger, taking the offensive when encountering prey and predators.”

“SemiAuto; [Sem-ee-Aw-tuh]”
“SemiAuto are the more dangerous variant of Glocktopuses, living solely in the mid levels of the midnight zone. SemiAuto, live for 7 years on average, with an average length of 48 inches or 1.22 meters. This variant is starkly similar to Revolv, with an added danger, their tentacles are barbed. These barbs allow for the SemiAuto to lock its prey in place, where it will unleash a deadly flurry of punches, much faster than Revolvs. This is how they got their name, SemiAuto, as their speed is similar to a Tommy Gun. These Glocktopuses are creatures of spite, attacking anything when they feel slightly inclined to do so.”

“Chain; [Cheyn]”
“The most deadly variant of the Glocktopus, as well as being argued to be the deadliest octopus in Estea. Chains are a rare sight to fear, but they are nigh always found in the abyssal zone. They have the average lifespan of 10 years, with a terrifying length of 6 feet or 1.83 meters. Physically they function similar to the previous Glocktopuses, but they have vastly different methods of executing said functions. Instead of bearing claws similar to mantis shrimp, Chain Glocktopuses bear turret holes at the end of their 12 tentacles. In which they use strong Inferna Magic to carry out the method of attack of Glocktopuses, terrifyingly effective and strong. Chains can be spotted by the light of their eyes, or the red tint of their bodies after an attack. Moreover, if a Chain were to attack long enough, the heat it would produce would be enough to cook the Glocktopus alive in a disgusting display of hubris. Words cannot describe how dangerous these foes are to encounter in the depths, as these Glocktopuses are creatures of rage, attacking anything and everything.”

“The Glocktopus may be silly by name, but in practice they are a truly dangerous adversary, luckily the species as a whole is rare, an act of mercy by Rachnera if I do say.”
