“A nice change of pace from the previous races, these next races are in relation to plants rather than animals. Starting with the Mycans, which I know aren’t plants nor animals, but it’s much easier to group them in with the plants. For heaven’s sake I’m making 61 of these reports, a little leniency would be nice.”
“Mycan; [Mahy-kin]”
“Mycans are a race of fungal Humanoids, in a similar aspect to Dryads and the like. Moreover, they can live in most any environment and share the same lifespan of 1000 years, upon reaching their thousandth year, they take up a new appearance and gain new strengths and live another 1000 years. Frankly this is a rare occurrence. Additionally, Mycans produce spores, however instead of being their means of reproduction, an individual’s spores can have various effects, from poison and hallucinogens to subtle mind control and creation of their respective mushroom.”

“Cap; [Kap]”
“The most common Mycan to be found in Estea. Cap Mycan have an average height of 5 feet and 10 inches or 1.78 meters. These Mycan can be easily distinguished by their large mushroom caps, said caps can be found in any location of the Mycan’s body, but it typically is on their head. Their caps are the prime source of their spore production and distribution. Physically Cap Mycan are frail, as gathering food is never a problem for them, their strength is limited when compared to other Mycan. Caps prefer a life of solace due to their timid nature.”

“Slab; [Slab]”
“Slab Mycan prefer to live amongst the trees, being found in woodlands and taigas and the like. Slab Mycan have an average height of 6 feet and 4 inches or 1.93 meters. They can be distinguished by the mass of shelf mushrooms growing on their bodies. Similar to their mushrooms, Slab Mycans climb onto trees to live, thus they have larger builds than their peers. Otherwise, Slab Mycan live similarly to Cap Mycan.”

“Bundle; [Buhn-dl]”
“A Mycan variant that is an interesting diversion from the others. Bundle Mycans can live anywhere, however they are rare. Much smaller than Humans and other Mycans, Bundle Mycan have an average height of 4 feet and 5 inches or 1.35 meters. Physically, Bundle Mycans have much smaller builds, resembling children. To oppose this, they are formed in groups of 3 or more, with each body of the Bundle sharing the same consciousness. Socially, Bundles are very active to interact with other races as well as hold discussions amongst themselves.”

“Amorphous; [Uh-mawr-fuhs]”
“The final variant of Mycan, the Amorphous Mycan, prefers to live in caves. These Mycans have an average height of 5 feet and 11 inches or 1.80 meters, only slightly larger than Cap Mycans. Physically they appear similar to Humans, as they bear no obvious mushroom caps, however, a majority of their bodies are mushrooms, most notably being their hair and legs, moving similarly to slugs and Slimes. As such, Amorphous Mycans produce the most spores and are typically viewed negatively because of this. Additionally, they are very frail, more so than Cap Mycans. Socially, Amorphous Mycans are timid and prefer solitude, however they can be seen in public situations from time to time.”

“Mycans are viewed as the weakest of the group, and they are, with only one variant bearing above average strength, the race is very against frontal confrontation. Preferring a subtler or smarter approach to their situations. Most Mycans have the ability to turn their hands and feet into stubs at the end of their limbs, where they can absorb nutrients at a much faster rate, in exchange for offensive and defensive might. My personal perception of them is that they are the fantasy support class, cause it’ll be rude to bluntly state that there isn’t much to say about them..”
