The rest of my family have traditions and stuff, but I never really got into that kind of stuff.
My mom is disappointed at me for not wanting to learn about our native heritage, or uphold at least one tradition.
My broth Loves the native stuff, he'll teach you survival lessons, he can go on and on about our native pride and such.
I may be Native, but I'm getting tire of my family's native pride. They kinda go overboard, like my bro hunts wild animals, gut them, eat them and then turn their bones into weapons and tools to use.
I'm the only one that doesn't have dark colored skin, everybody else in my family look like they got sun tans. (I'm one pasty boy)
Also, I'm the only mechanic in my family. (Everyone else just want's to drive a "car") I want a project vehicle!

Well, that's something you should be proud of. You come from a proud heritage. Be glad that's all they talk about, at least you don't have a parent that constantly talks about the military everyday. That got old years ago.

Really? It's something my mom always talk about when an indian conversation comes up.
Also, I kinda would take military talk over indian talk now.
I am proud of my heritage, but i'm a lil worn out by it.
Plus I'm a car guy, my family are traditionalists. (They don't like cars) I have to have a car to play around with.
They can keep there sticks and wooden tools, I need a super charged V8 with a nice shiny tool kit.
