Description There've been a few storms over the past couple of days and yesterday, my internet went out. So I made a vector while I waited to see if it came back on. It didn't. So today, I made another vector. (I haven't posted yesterday's yet, there are several versions and I'm not sure which I like best)

Anyway, this is Alexis Denisof, most well-known as Wesley from Buffy and Angel. I loved that character. And I love this vector, too. It's much better than my past few and there's not much I don't like about it (hair colour, clothes, and most of all face highlights).

As always, advanced critique is welcome; I'm still learning this stuff.

This is gorgeous! Sorry, but I see nothing worth criticizing. This portrait really does Alexis justice. Great job!

Ah, Alexis. This certainly does him justice. I especially love the eyes and clothes. (sorry I can't really give a critique, as I don't know anything about vector.)

Wesley was, by far, my favorite character in Angel. Loooved him. It completely made my day to browse your gallery and find this.

Thanks so much!

I loved Wesley, he really was the best character on that show. Plus, I love when you can actually watch a character develop. By the time his scenes ended (and I was very upset at that, by the way, haha), he was a completely different person from his first episode on Buffy. <3 wes

And thanks for the favourite (again)!

LOL, I just realised that I kinda repeated the above comment a bit, but...

Nice shading. I'm still learning the whole Vexel thing too! All I can really say is make your shapes smother and maybe not so much of an immediate jump from darker tones to light ones, if you know what I mean.

...Are you a member of Vexels.net, by the way??

::nods:: I keep meaning to go back and make that transition better, but I just never feel in the mood LOL

And yes, I just joined Vexels.net yesterday... or actually last week, but I just posted for the first time yesterday LOL

Very nice! But it seems you could have your colors blend together more smoothly, as the lines between colors are rather solid. However, a great likeness overall!

::nods:: Yeah, I agree. I think especially the top two or three layers of skin are much too different from the next shade.
