This came out great; I love the use of brushes. I also love his facial expression (if you can call it a face), and the face in general. I think the best part is that slightly glow-y look you gave his eyes and mouth. It really makes the face substantial.

The blurring/shading/I don't know what to call it could have been a little more strategically placed, especially around the torso to highlight the anatomy of the monster. Also the legs could have been more clearly defined. I feel like it would look better if the legs carried on the slightly-skeletal/starved theme that the upper body insinuates but you don't entirely carry through. For the background, its a little too obvious that it was made by a brush, because of the circle marks around the top. If that was fixed to look more like the bottom half, it would look awesome.

The actual design and art of the monster is pretty fantastic. I especially love the detail you managed to sneak in to a picture that looks vague and simple at first glance. Overall, I really really like this. It looks like you're watching through a frost covered window as the monster comes out of the fog. And if I saw this thing come at me, I would be peeing my pants. Nicely done.

This makes me think of a Colussus, except combined with a necromorph from Dead Space. The image in my head is now of a towering necromorph, with Wander waiting below, tiny stick of a sword at his side.
