the demon thing was a plus, but the real selling point was the red hair...

I didn't want to say anything in case it was just in a couple pictures, but your face-shape tend is worrying me a little. They're getting very thin and pointy, and rather than a style choice, it's tending to look like poor anatomy. It reminds me of your old pieces, back before the really stellar work you did around the time you switched accounts. It feels like you've taken a step back.

Also I went back and looked through my older pieces (Expecially this one [link] ) And I don't really see major differences in the chins between that and say this picture [link]
Maybe I should round a bit more then I currently am, but thats not gonna happen with Zebidiah.

I'll respond to both comments here. ^_^
Regarding the chins: To pull examples, here [link] Zebidiah's chin does look distractingly pointy, but Vlad's chin also looks large, especially on the right picture, there the area from bottom lip to bottom of chin is longer than from the middle edge of either eyebrow to hairline. There's the same problem with your spin doctor picture here: [link] The Zebidiah in this deviation has the same feel, because while his actual hairline isn't visible, the area where the bangs initially split off give him a forehead that is, even measuring generously, smaller than his chin. As anime/cartoon style artists, we don't have to conform to pure anatomical standards, but chins that are larger than the forehead throw the whole face out of proportion. It looks rather unpleasant, and I don't think it's the effect you'd want to go for with your characters. In this picture: [link] the chins are smaller and the lips more defined, making it impossible to view the lips as a part of the general chin area.
The chin problem is compounded by the very long noses you've been drawing, all of them with thin or nonexistent bridges. On character designs with larger eyes, this isn't quite so much of a problem, but when the eyes are half-closed or smaller, then it stretches out the face, leaving the cheeks wide open. And with larger cheeks and chin, it draws the viewer's eyes away from the features. With these two: [link] they have larger eyes, larger mouths, wider noses, and hair and glasses poised to break up the cheeks.
I understand that you want Zebidiah to have an angled face, but I honestly think that you can achieve that effect without having to make him look awkward.

:/
I'm actually confused where you're getting the 'couple pictures' thing. This is the only picture with a pointy chin. It is also a part of Zebidiah's design, and it is MEANT to be there. He's supposed to have a long angled face.

Thank you! This coloring is really fun. The last coloring I did was just way too... whats the word, constrained? It got boring. I like messing with this a lot, the painted look. XD

Hmm, well if you use SAI, there are different functions for the Water tool. I use one of the rougher brushes to do this paint effect.
